We know you are all here for a reason and we want to be clear on our mission! These are the organizations that we are supporting with this event:

Special Operation Warrior Foundation - Our mission is to ensure full post-secondary educational support to surviving children of special operations personnel and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel ~ today and in the future.

First to Fight - First to Fight is a charitable organization founded by combat veterans to give support to veterans and their families by providing guidance with the transition from active duty, a connection to other veterans, and resources to maintain a successful civilian life.

USO - Since 1941, the USO has been the nation’s leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back to their communities, the USO is always by their side.

Semper Fi & America's Fund - Dedicated to providing assistance to our combat wounded, critically ill and injured service members, military family members, and veterans, from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Sporting Clays Shooting Tournament & Fishing Rodeo

I would like to personally invite you to join me in supporting our

military community for future Black & Gold Classic events.

Our previous events pitted former NFL standouts and other celebrities in a

one-of-a kind tournament on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Joining me have been many of my former teammates, current

NFL players, local celebrities and military personnel, all here

to honor the heroes that fight for our freedoms everyday.

This two-day event kicked off with a sporting clays shooting

tournament, a Chef’s Dinner featuring some of the best chefs

from New Orleans, followed by an auction with one-of-a-kind

items. All of this is followed the next day by a fishing rodeo,

fishing awards and a concert.

During my time as a football coach for the United States

Military Academy at West Point, I had the honor of meeting

and coaching outstanding students who serve to protect our

country and allow us the freedom to have events like this.

The drive to start this organization and give back was fueled

by a visit to Walter Reed hospital to see a former player

who was severely injured during his tour. This event is very

personal to the entire Black & Gold team, which is driven by

my entire family, some of which are veteran military.

We need your help to make future events successful and have

no doubt, once you join the unique Black & Gold event family,

you will be just as invested as we are. We are working on some

great plans for Black & Gold Classic, and we would love to

have you on board as a sponsor and are also open to other

ways you may want to be involved. Thank you so much for
